About – Brian Leonard

Brian Leonard is a drug discovery and translational strategy leader with 15+ years of experience supporting therapeutic development across RNA therapeutics, antibodies, gene therapy, and small molecules within leading biopharma organizations.

He has held scientific leadership roles at Roche, Regeneron, and Yarrow Biotechnology, where he supported cross-functional scientific strategy, translational evaluation, platform development, and external scientific initiatives across infectious disease, rare disease, neurodevelopmental, and autoimmune programs.

Brian’s experience spans scientific governance, translational strategy, medical and scientific communications, diligence activities, and stakeholder engagement supporting both early discovery and clinical-stage development programs. His work has included supporting FDA interaction preparation, scientific review workflows, external collaborations, conference materials, grant development, and strategic evaluation activities across multiple therapeutic modalities.

Brian holds an MBA in Biopharma Innovation from Rutgers University, completed laboratory training through Stanford University, and earned a B.S. in Biology and Bioinformatics, cum laude, from Niagara University.
